Now days everybody’s life is busy and people have less and less time for making fresh food (sadly) the census has started to turn their options toward frozen stuff well I’d say not started it is a practice which have been done in many countries from many years …

Sadly the fact is frozen food or packaged food has some or a lot of preservatives which definitely is not very good for you. So I decided to come up with a recipe, which can solve I guess both the issues and you don’t need to work too hard for it …

INGREDIENTS:

4-5 small chicken Sausages (cut into bite size bits)

For Batter Coating:

¼ Cup all Purpose Flour

1/8 Cup Corn Starch

2 Tbsp Corn Meal

1 Egg White

1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

½ -3/4 tsp Salt (Or as per your taste)

¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder

¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper

1/8 tsp Black Pepper

¼ tsp Garlic Powder

¼ Onion Powder

For Dry Flour Coating:

1/8 Cup All Purpose Flour

1/8 Cup Potato Starch /Corn Starch

¼ tsp Baking Soda

For Acid Combination:

1 Cup Water

2 Tbsp Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE THE RECIPE:

KEY POINTS:

  • If your using Corn Starch for dry flour coating then keep in mind the chicken popcorn will have a shorter shelf life.
  • Make sure you store them in an air tight container in your freezer
  • Don’t add egg yolk in the batter.
