Well I find it really sad that people buy a lot of frozen stuff and even though my future plans is to open up a frozen food shop but still all the preservative that are used in the making of frozen food are not actually good so in this recipe I’ll show you how you can make your very own chicken and cheese shots and yes I’ll also show you how you can make get a very juicy chicken with some cooking tips and tricks…. (‘’,)

 

Ingredients For Chicken Mince:

 

A Piece/ 250 Gms Chicken Breast

10 – 20 gms / 1 Spring Onion (you can also use normal onion)

2 Garlic Cloves (Chopped)

1 tsp Chopped Ginger

1 Tbsp Vegetable Shortening (Read Note Below For Alternatives)

¾ tsp Salt

¼ tsp Red Chilli Flakes

½ tsp Paprika / Deegi Mirch

½ tsp Chilli Sauce (optional)

¼ tsp Sugar

¼ ts Baking Soda (Important)

1 Egg Yolk

1/3 Cup of Water

 

NOTE: If you don’t find vegetable shortening you can use Vanaspati ghee/Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee / Unsalted Butter

 

 

INGREDIENTS FOR FLOUR MIX :

 

½ Cup All Purpose Flour ( Maida)

¼ Cup Corn Starch or Corn Flour

½ tsp Salt

 

INGREDIENTS FOR BATTER MIX:

 

1 Egg White

2 Tbsp Milk

 

 

FOR BREADING YOU CAN USE NACHOS OR BREAD CRUMBS …

 

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE THE RECIPE :

 

 

KEY POINTS:

  • You have to use saturated fats otherwise the chicken mesh or the network of chicken after being cooked will not be tender
  • Baking Soda and Sugar are important to enable the chicken to hold more water and provide more moisture also sugar will help to over come the bitterness of the soda
  • Egg Yolk is important for emulsification process
  • You can store them for 14 days in an air tight container in a freezer but you need to thaw them or bring them back to room temperature before you Fry them.
  • Make sure you don’t over crowd the oil while frying them.
