Well making balushahi is very very simple; there are only few things that you have to keep in mind. Initially I had a few issues when I had first time make the recipe but I guess it was the second or the third time that I was able to decode the perfect balushahi … I hope you like this recipe guys and have a very very happy and safe festive season

 

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THE DOUGH :

All-purpose flour – 250 gm / 1 Cup

Clarified butter – 80 ml (A little less that half Cup)

Water – 80 ml (a little more than half Cup)

Baking Powder – ½ tsp

 

½ tsp Salt
 

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE SUGAR SYRUP:

Sugar – 2 Cups ( 500 gm )

Water – 1 Cup

Cardamom – 5 -6

Saffron – one pinch

 

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE THE RECIPE :

IMPORTANTS POINTS

 

  • Make sure you add water and ghee together
  • Try to use a little cold water to knead the dough
  • Fry on a Med – Low Flame
  • Try to fry the together
