Well I have been working on good cake recipe since a long time and it has always been my moto to give the best recipe possible I really happy that this is my first cake recipe and I know that anybody who makes it will surely fall in love with because trust me I just love this recipe….
While researching for the recipe I realised that Chiffon cake has an amazing back-story how it was developed and how Harry Baker a California Insurance Salesman came up with such an amazing recipe…

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THE RECIPE:
Dry Ingredients:
100 gms Cake Flour / All purpose Flour / Maida
1 tsp or 5 Gms Baking Powder (Aluminum free)
Pinch Of Salt
1 Tbsp or 10 Gms Corn Starch ( Only if using all purpose flour/maida)
Wet Ingredients:
3 Large or 4 Small or 54 Gms Egg Yolks
80 Gms Fine Sugar
50 ml Vegetable Oil
80 Gms Water
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Egg White Meringue:
3 Large or 4 Small or 90 Gms Egg Whites
3/8 tsp Cream Or Tartar
45 Gms Sugar
ALTERNATIVE OF CREAM OF TARTER
- You can add 1/8 tsp of vinegar per egg white
NOTE: it is just an insurance to make stiff egg whites you skip this if using fresh eggs
INSTRUCTION TO MAKE THE RECIPE :
POINTS TO REMEMBER:
- Make sure to sieve the flour, baking powder and even sugar
- Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks
- Beat the egg yolks and the sugar till ribbon stage
- Do not over work the cake mix

Excellent recipe, thanks a ton, one request, I want an good puff pastry dough recipe, all the available methods are very cumbersome and time consuming,that is repeatedly putting the dough in the freezer several times.

well for making puff pastry you need to work on that method the bakers also use another method which is a bit simpler will work on that and let you know 🙂
