INGREDIENTS TO MAKE RECIPE:

 

TO PREPARE DOUGH

¼ Cup Split Urad Dal

2 Green Chillies

1½ Cup Wheat Flour

3 Tbsp Oil

¾ tsp Salt

½ tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Finely Chopped Ginger

1 Pinch Hing (Asafoetida)

1 tsp Fennel Seeds Powder

1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder

1 tsp Coriander Powder

¼ – ½ Cup Water

1 tsp Oil

 

Oil for Deep Frying

 

TO PREPARE ALOO

WHOLE SPICE MIX

1 tsp Whole Coriander

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

¼ tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)

1 tsp Sauf Powder

½ tsp Fenugreek seeds

 

GROUND SPICE MIX

¾ tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

1 tsp Garam Masala

1 tsp Dry Mango Powder (Amchoor)

 

3 Potatoes

1 Tomato

1 Onion

 

FOR COOKING

4 Tbsp Oil

2 Dried Red Chillies

2 Bay Leaves

½ tsp Cumin Seeds

2 tsp Salt

1 Ltr Water

1 tsp Kasuri Methi

Fresh Coriander Leaves

 

TO PREPARE TADKA

2-3 Tbsp Desi Ghee

Hing (Asafoetida)

2 Inch Ginger

3-4 Green Chillies

Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
